Realization for the Unnamable and Unclaimable Aria/Potential Threnody for the Critical and Pre-Taxonomized (RFUU) (2016) Aesthetically indeterminate cryptozoological and endangered/extinct organisms via ā€œanimatronicsā€ were placed in a darkened room in which ontology is given various complications. The stand-ins were placed via Fortean tactics of dialectically assembling accounts against experience, to reformulate encounters with the ā€œunknownā€ and the difficulties in quantifying said account/experience into rationality.

The viewer is presented a text illustrating the history of these organisms that are thought to have limited to no existance despite existing in folk, ontologies, histories, and/or myth or recently verigied been verified at levels of critical endangerment. The organisms represented are done with minimal means/ability to further accentuate the Burkean sublime/trauma of accounts based on encounter with these organisms in the wild and folk histories. The organisms were rendered into existence in oil paint for cryptids to ensure permanence and watercolor as is protocol for the taxonimized.
